Vito Mannone is eyeing a return to first-team action with Hull after returning to training following his groin injury.
The on-loan Arsenal goalkeeper has not played since December but made a return to the squad for Saturday`s draw at Ipswich.
Now that he is back in training he is aiming to regain his place between the sticks.
Speaking to Hull`s official club website Mannone said: "I really cannot wait to get back onto the pitch.
"It has been very frustrating, especially because I was really enjoying things here. I`m like a kid at the moment because I just want to play everyday.
"Everything here is positive, but now we need to take it game by game and if we do that we will have a chance."
