The club-record £5-million signing offered his support following an outstanding display in a 2-1 win for relegation-threatened Hull over Stoke that eased the pressure on Brown. [LNB]His position has been the subject of widespread speculation over the last few weeks as Hull slid down the Premier League table but the win over Stoke saw Hull climb out of the relegation zone. [LNB]Hull City manager Phil Brown confirms interest in Newcastle Uniteds Michael Owen"We thoroughly believe in the manager and staff and we want him to stay," Bullard said. "I believe he will and hopefully for a very long time, he's a great manager." [LNB]"He's a top man. It's easy to go in your shell but he has been absolutely blinding with us. [LNB]"He's been calm and he believes in himself like all top managers do. He believes in his ways, they're simple and methodical and he's a great bloke. [LNB]"I hope he stays here for a long time. The boys think the same and it showed. We feel the pressure as players, we wanted it for him." [LNB]Brown will be banking on Bullard to inspire Hull to victories in their next two matches at home to West Ham and Everton later this month to ease the club's relegation worries. [LNB]"It's incredibly tight down at the bottom of the league but a few wins can make all the difference and boost your confidence," Bullard added. [LNB]"The win will bring a massive lift and if we can build on our home form and get some points behind us, we can believe in ourselves quietly. [LNB]"It's important not to get carried away but I thought we played some great stuff. We got the ball in and around the front men's feet and they didn't like it at all." [LNB]The victory over Stoke was the perfect way for Bullard to mark his home debut for the Tigers following ten months on the sidelines following knee trouble following his move from Fulham last January. [LNB]"I enjoyed every minute of it and I just couldn't wait to get my boots on," Bullard said. "I didn't sleep great, I kept waking up but I finally got there and loved it all. Just to get out there and play football again means a lot. [LNB]"I didn't know what to expect from the game. I didn't speak to the manager about but I suppose he kept an eye on me. [LNB]"I remember looking up at the 87th minute mark and I was flagging, he could have brought me off then but I'm glad he didn't." [LNB]
