Hull City's on-loan defender Jack Hobbs says he expects to return to parent club Leicester City in the summer. The 22-year-old signed for City until the end of the season after being made available by Foxes manager Sven Goran Erikson earlier in the month. [LNB]Hobbs told BBC Radio Humberside: "I've got two more years left [on Leicester deal] and I'm going to try and do as well as I can in these three months. [LNB]"I'll go back to Leicester and see what happens in the summer." [LNB]The former Liverpool centre-half was player of the year at the Walkers Stadium last season, playing 44 of 46 league games under now Tigers boss Nigel Pearson.[LNB] We've been on such a good run and both centre-halves at Hull have been great Jack Hobbs But the arrivals of Sol Bamba and Jeffrey Bruma in January increased competition for places in the Leicester defence, pushing Hobbs down the pecking order. [LNB]He has also been restricted to one brief substitute appearance since arriving at the KC Stadium, in the 1-0 win at Derby, and Hobbs knows the form of James Chester and Anthony Gerrard will make it difficult for him to force his way into the City side. [LNB]"We've been on such a good run and both centre-halves have been great, especially in the two games since I've been here," Hobbs said. [LNB]"They are doing really well and I'll wait for my chance, hopefully I'll get one and I'll take it." [LNB]In 2005 Hobbs was signed by Liverpool from Lincoln City for a reported £750,000. He was loaned to Scunthorpe and then to Leicester before signing a permanent Foxes deal in April 2009.
