Hull City manager Steve Bruce has revealed that Irish midfielder Robbie Brady could make an unexpected comeback for the club in Saturday's FA Cup final against Arsenal at Wembley Stadium.

"Robbie Brady's come from nowhere in the last couple of weeks. It's amazing what an FA Cup final does," Bruce told Wednesday's edition of regional newspaper the Hull Daily Mail.

Brady, 22, has not played for three months after undergoing groin surgery in February, but he is now training fully and could feature in Bruce's squad for the club's first ever FA Cup final.

"We've seen him in training for the first time in six months, so it's been incredible," Bruce added.

Brady, a former Manchester United youth team player, had scored four goals in 18 appearances for Hull before succumbing to injury.
