Jake Livermore back in contention as Hull take on Leeds

Hull midfielder Jake Livermore is expected to return to the squad for the home game against Leeds.

Boss Steve Bruce rested Livermore in midweek for the Tigers' 2-1 win at Reading, which guaranteed them a place in the play-offs.

Bruce must decide whether to recall Livermore to his starting line-up or stick with David Meyler and Tom Huddlestone in central midfield, while Sam Clucas and Ahmed Elmohamady are also pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.

Defender Michael Dawson (calf) and forward Mo Diame (thigh) both remain sidelined, while third-choice goalkeeper Dusan Kuciak will miss the rest of the season after minor knee surgery.

Leeds midfielder Tom Adeyemi is struggling with the effects of an illness that has recently hit the squad and winger Mustapha Carayol (hamstring) is not expected to feature.

Head coach Steve Evans said he would be making one or two changes despite the midweek home win against Wolves being Leeds' third straight victory.

Versatile winger Lewie Coyle and striker Lee Erwin made rare starts for Leeds on Tuesday night and could make way for Stuart Dallas and Mirco Antenucci respectively.

Midfielder Alex Mowatt serves the final game of his three-match ban, while midfielder Liam Bridcutt and centre-half Giuseppe Bellusci are pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.
