Hull V Crawley Town at KC Stadium : Match Preview

27 January 2012 11:01
Hull defender Liam Rosenior has declared his fitness for the FA Cup clash with Crawley.

Rosenior was forced out of last week's win at Reading with an ankle injury late in the game but manager Nick Barmby has confirmed the right-back is in contention.

Rosenior was the only injury doubt for the fourth round tie and Barmby will pick from a full-strength squad. Barmby made seven changes for the third-round win over Ipswich but was giving little away in terms of team selection for the visit of giantkillers Crawley.

Winger Robbie Brady, on loan from Manchester United, scored the game's only goal when he returned to the starting line-up at Reading and is likely to retain his place alongside Aaron Mclean up front.

Matty Fryatt may have to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench again.

Crawley are boosted by the loan capture of Sanchez Watt for the trip.

The 20-year-old Arsenal striker has joined the Red Devils on loan until the end of the season and is eligible to line up at the KC Stadium.

Defender Claude Davis limped out of last weekend's 1-1 draw at Plymouth after taking a knock to his leg but has recovered and will be available.

Striker John Akinde is also fit after missing out against Argyle with a thigh injury.

Boss Steve Evans will name his strongest side as Town bid to reach the fifth round for a second-successive season. That means Akinde will probably have to start on the bench with Matt Tubbs and Tyrone Barnett continuing in attack.

Midfielder Hope Akpan returns to the club where he had a short spell on loan at the end of last season.
