Hull City have tabled a £1million offer for Leicester City's Matty Fryatt and are hopeful of striking a deal with Peterborough for Aaron McLean.
Nigel Pearson is hoping to secure Fryatt in the next 24 hours in a deal that could total £1.5m in add-ons for the striker who has found himself on the fringe under new Foxes boss Sven Goran Eriksson.
Pearson had a bid for Swindon's Charlie Austin rejected but has also moved for McLean who has scored 14 goals this season - including six in his last six games.
