Hull ready to rival Fulham for £6.5m USA kid Jozy Altidore

Hull are ready to rival Fulham in a bid for highly-rated America striker Jozy Altidore. [LNB]The 19-year-old is with Spanish club Villarreal and shot to prominence in June with the first goal for in the USA's 2-0 Confederations Cup semi-final victory over Spain. [LNB]Fulham have watched Altidore for some time, as have Everton, but Hull believe they have a chance to persuade him he can play regularly in the Premier League and are prepared to pay around £6.5million.
