I've been speaking to them all week but the player has gone somewhere else. Thankfully Hull have let John come here." Meanwhile, Tigers youngster James Bennett has joined League Two side Lincoln until the end of the season. The 20-year-old midfielder impressed in a recent trial for Lincoln's reserve squad, prompting Imps boss Peter Jackson to secure his services.
