Hull in race against time to agree a deal to slash players wages before Friday

Hull are keen to push through a deal with the PFA to slash the club's first team wages beforethe salaries have to be paid on Friday. [LNB]The cash-strapped Tigers need to find more than £3m to cover May's wage packets, but talks havebeen ongoing aimed at reducing the amount by around £1m. [LNB]'We had a very constructive meeting with the club last week and our advisors are happy with the reassurances given. [LNB]'We will recommend to the players they accept the deal. It's taken longer than we expected but hopefully things are going to move in the next day or so.'
