Hull hopeful on Pearson health

Hull expect manager Nigel Pearson to return to his duties on Monday after he was taken to hospital, forcing him to miss the match at Doncaster.[LNB] Pearson was absent for Saturday afternoon's Championship derby clash after being admitted to hospital on Friday night.[LNB]The 47-year-old complained of feeling unwell after training on Friday and was taken for tests. He was expected to be released on Saturday evening.[LNB]A club statement read: "All tests conducted so far have produced positive results and the club is hopeful that Nigel will be discharged and back with the team on Monday."[LNB]Pearson's assistant Craig Shakespeare took charge of the side for the Keepmoat Stadium clash.
