Hull hope duo can face Black Cats

Hull are waiting on the fitness of striker Daniel Cousin (back) and full-back Bernard Mendy (foot) ahead of Saturday's trip to Sunderland.Cousin has missed the Tigers' last four Premier League games while Mendy was forced off at half-time in last weekend's 3-1 defeat at Middlesbrough. The pair were both due to be assessed during training on Friday.Hull are forced to make at least one change at the Stadium of Light with captain Ian Ashbee suspended after accumulating 10 booking this season.
