Hull history tour: Boss Brown gives a stark reminder to his players

If Hull's players were feeling sorry for themselves after a midweek mauling at the hands of Tottenham, manager Phil Brown gave them a reminder that life could be a whole lot worse. Instead of a training session, Brown walked his players from Hull's modern KC Stadium to their derelict old Boothferry Park ground. 'It is a stark reminder of the reality of the last 10 years,' said Brown. 'It showed the new boys the history of the club and exactly where we've come from. They probably thought I was mental, but look at how far we've come. 'We're here at the KC Stadium and we have got to start playing some football in it.'
