Pearson, who called for the 'recriminations' over his decision to sack Phil Brown as manager and bring in Iain Dowie to be postponed until the summer, issued a rallying call to supporters as Hull prepare to face Fulham on Saturday in a potentially pivotal game.[LNB]He made his candid assessment of the last eight games of the season in full knowledge that relegation from the Premier League would have serious ramifications for his club due to the financial impact of dropping into the Championship.[LNB]Legal high Spice to be banned'I think it is the most crucial month in the club's history,' Pearson said. 'It has been an extremely difficult 16 months at this football club and our playing record has been very poor and taken its toll.[LNB]'It's a very expensive club to run and it needs Premier League revenues to run it. For now, all we care about is keeping this club up to allow us the time to try and sort any financial issues that we have and in order to get a squad that can move up the league.[LNB]'Fans must get behind Iain and the team. You can see what happens when the crowd turns. You lose all kind of chances of getting results at home. But I know this crowd; they will be right behind us I am sure on Saturday. We need to leave the recriminations until the end of the season.'[LNB]Dowie's reign began with a 3-2 defeat at rock-bottom Portsmouth last weekend, leaving second-bottom Hull three points from safety but with a game in hand over 17th-placed West Ham.[LNB]'Iain has brought discipline, professionalism, energy, enthusiasm, good training sessions and a fresh impetus,' Pearson added.[LNB]'He was two minutes from making a fantastic start (at Portsmouth). The team performed well and all the signs were right, but football fate decreed that it wasn't to be. This week we start again and it is a perfect opportunity.'[LNB]Pearson is banking on former Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard to invigorate the Yorkshire club.[LNB]'Jimmy Bullard will hopefully pull the strings for us against his old team and hopefully we will get moving again,' Pearson said.[LNB]'The lads are a good set of professionals and I am sure they will be battling all the way.'[LNB]
