Hull City welcome top-four chasing Manchester City to the KC Stadium on Saturday and will be in buoyant mood following their excellent draw against Chelsea in midweek. Phil Brown's struggling side fought hard to secure a 1-1 draw against John Terry's Blues with Steven Mouyokolo opening the scoring for the Tigers. Although Didier Drogba restored parity, Hull held out to claim a valuable point in their quest to beat the drop although they remain in the relegation zone on goal difference. However, the tough games are coming thick and fast and they will have their work cut out once more when they face Roberto Mancini's classy outfit. City are in sixth position but have two games in hand over Tottenham Hotspur, who currently occupy the fourth Champions League place, and are just two points adrift of their London rivals. They have lost just two games in their previous 15 league appearances and have started to show their potential in front of goal. Carlos Tevez has claimed 12 league goals this term with strike partner Emmanuel Adebayor chipping in with seven of his own and these two will want to add to their own personal stats this weekend. But with just three wins on the road this term, Mancini will be striving to improve his team's mediocre record in order to grab the European qualification they crave. Despite Tuesday night's stalemate with Chelsea, Hull have now gone ten games without a win and the pressure is now on although they will take heart from the 1-1 draw they grabbed at the City of Manchester Stadium in November. Jimmy Bullard's penalty earned the point that day and the effervescent midfielder was in instrumental form but he has been missing in recent weeks with a knee injury and his absence has coincided with their wretched run of form. He will face a late fitness test alongside Kamel Ghilas (thigh) and Kamil Zayatte (ankle) but Ian Ashbee is expected to be out until the summer with a cruciate ligament tear. For the Citizens, Wayne Bridge (knee ligaments) could make a return and new signing Patick Vieira (calf) is close to a first-team selection. Roque Santa Cruz (calf) and Joleon Lescott (knee) are a fortnight away from returning and beleaguered Michael Johnson (knee) is out for the rest of the season.
