Hodgson in dark over Zamora

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson says he is in the dark over Hull City's interest in striker Bobby Zamora. Tigers boss Phil Brown claimed earlier this week Hull had made a "substantial bid" for Zamora as he looks to bolster their attacking options after missing out Michael Owen and Fraizer Campbell. Hodgson is unsure if Hull have made a bid for Zamora Hodgson admitted on Saturday he had no idea what offer Brown was referring to and that, as far as he knew, Zamora, who only scored two Premier League goals last season, was not leaving. When asked about Zamora, Hodgson said: "I don't know anything about it. "I spoke to the chief executive yesterday (Friday) and of course, I spoke to him in the morning, and he may have something different to say when I speak to him tonight. At that stage there had been no offer for Bobby Zamora. "I don't know if that is just paper talk or they have made a bid for him. At this moment in time I couldn't confirm or deny it."
