Hull midfielder Geovanni is working as a pastor at a Manchester church in his spare time. The Brazilian, who previously played for Manchester City, attends the New Hope Fellowship Church in Hulme. Geovanni, 29, also runs football workshops with local children after arriving in Manchester two years ago. "Deiber (Geovanni) has been working with boys in the local area and doing some great work," Pastor Ezequias Santos, head priest at the church, told the Manchester Evening News. "Like Kaka, he is a Brazilian player who has kept his faith and remained humble even though his life is now very different to ours. "He wants to be part of the community and help youths develop good behaviour, even though he now has a wealthy background." Geovanni, who scored eight goals last season, is currently in Italy at Hull's training camp as the club prepare for a second successive campaign in the Barclays Premier League.
