Phil Brown seems to inhabit a weird and wonderful world all of his own.
After talking up Hull's chances of Europe during a season in which they only avoided relegation on the final day, the manager is at it again.
Brown has just made a complete fool of himself with an impromptu karaoke session with fans at the KC Stadium but it seems he will never learn.
He said: 'A European place would be the ultimate aim, either through winning a trophy or by way of standing in the Premier League... All I can say is that it will be in the near future.'
Meanwhile, back in the real world....
