Anthony Gerrard admitted he will have a point to prove when he makes his debut for Hull against parent club Cardiff on Saturday.[LNB] The 24-year-old opted for a season-long loan switch to the KC Stadium earlier this month after slipping down the pecking order at Cardiff, where the central defender had been a regular last season.[LNB]Gerrard told the Hull Daily Mail: "I've got a point to prove going back there. Not necessarily to anyone at Cardiff after the amount of games I played last year, but to myself.[LNB]"I want to make people sit up and ask why did I go. That's the case whenever you play against a former club.[LNB]"I'm a Hull player now and I'll be going back there in the black and amber looking to do well.[LNB]"I'm relishing the chance to go back to Cardiff just to see how I do against my old team-mates."[LNB]
