Gerrard happy with Tigers progression

Anthony Gerrard is convinced Hull are moving "in the right direction" after stretching their unbeaten run in the npower Championship to four matches. The Tigers have not been beaten in their last five away league matches following Saturday's 2-2 draw at Middlesbrough, where Gerrard, on loan from Cardiff, struck his first goal for the club. Gerrard said: "It's all about momentum and progression and I think we're moving in the right direction. "It's maybe not been as quick as we'd like it to be and three points on Saturday would have helped but we'll take a point because it's a tough place to go and it was played in tough conditions." Gerrard, cousin of England skipper Steven, added: "It was nice to get a goal myself. It's only rare because goalkeepers and defenders keep blocking my shots! "If it wasn't for them I'd have a lot more goals in my career."
