Geovanni back in Brown's good books after saying sorry for sub reaction
Geovanni has earned himself a stay of execution at Hull City after apologising to manager Phil Brown. The former Brazil midfielder found himself in Brown's bad books following a furious reaction to being substituted during the home defeat by Blackburn on Sunday.
His actions raised serious doubts about his future, but he has said sorry and is in the squad for tonight's trip to Fulham.
Brown said: 'I've spoken with him and we'll see with his performance. 'The actions were those of an angry man. 'I'm looking for players who go across the white line and compose themselves and respect decisions, including this one (to substitute Geovanni).
It was taken for the right reasons. 'This is between myself and Geo and it will remain in-house. He has got an opportunity against Fulham to do something about it.'
