Hull assistant boss Brian Horton believes the club can look forward to a bright future after ensuring their Barclays Premier League survival. The Tigers were beaten on a tense final day of the season by Manchester United but retained their place in English football`s highest division courtesy of Newcastle's inferior record. It was a remarkable achievement, with Phil Brown's promoted side winning just two of their last 29 games. Horton said: "That was the scariest thing I have been through in football. "The first half of the season set us up and at the end of the day we've survived through the season, but the last couple of weeks have been tough. "We put some hard work in, everybody. We've put a fantastic team together and we can only build on this. It's been very tense but it's been worth it. It's been a great ride this season and I'm really proud to have been part of it."
