Sky Sports News understands that Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune underwent a medical on Tuesday ahead of his proposed move to Celtic. The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at West Brom and has opted to reunite with boss Tony Mowbray at Parkhead despite interest from Premier League side Hull City. The player has now headed up to Scotland for a medical and is expected to complete the transfer on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Celtic are also interested in Fortune's Nancy team- mate Landry N'Guemo. Mowbray showed interest in the 23-year-old Cameroon defensive midfielder while at West Brom, and Nancy have confirmed on their official website that the player is likely move to Scotland on a season-long loan. N'Guemo revealed last week that he was open to offers from abroad and he has now said he would welcome a move to Celtic. "If I join Celtic, that will give me the opportunity to re-launch my career," he said. "I need to have a big season because the World Cup is around the corner. "Nothing is settled as yet - for now, there has just been some contact - but Celtic is the biggest club in Scotland and they have amazing fans."
