// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Caleb Folan has launched a stinging attack on Hull City boss Phil Brown branding him 'pathetic' and 'laughable'.[LNB] Brown allowed Folan to leave Hull on loan for Middlesbrough last month after deeming him surplus to requirements at the KC Stadium.[LNB]Tigers chief Brown questioned Folan's ability and attitude after agreeing to loan him out to Boro and now the Republic of Ireland international has hit back at Brown's criticisms.[LNB]Folan, who is set to make his move to Middlesbrough permanent in January, believes Brown is to blame for Hull's disappointing start to the season.[LNB]"It was difficult to hear, but I've got to know what he's like," said Folan.[LNB]"That's his kind of way and if he wants to come out with stupid comments like that then just let him be. I think, most importantly for him, he needs to concentrate on managing the team as a team.[LNB]"They're not doing very well at all and I think comments like that to the press aren't really on - not for players who worked hard the time they were there, and people know that. I think it's just childish really.[LNB]"You get used to it. And if that's how he wants to come across then just let him be. [LNB]Laughable"That's laughable to me. I laughed when I first heard of it. My first reaction was to laugh because it was so pathetic.[LNB]"It's very strange because it's a good set-up there, but I just think they're not being managed in the right way."[LNB]
