Ferdinand focused on next game

Anton Ferdinand is refusing to look beyond Sunderland's next game after the Black Cats took a step towards survival with a victory over Hull. The Wearsiders claimed a precious 1-0 victory at the Stadium of Light which saw them move four points clear of third-bottom Middlesbrough. Sunderland travel to West Brom for their next match and victory against the apparently doomed Baggies would see them all but safe for another season in the top flight. Ferdinand, though, refuses to look beyond the trip to The Hawthorns and told the club's official website: "We'll do our best to beat West Brom and then we'll have a look at it. "All we are doing is looking at the West Brom game."
