FA seek Gunners' story

Arsenal have been asked by The Football Association to provide their observations following the claim that Cesc Fabregas spat at Brian Horton. Hull City have provided their evidence to The FA following the alleged incident which is said to have occurred following the FA Cup tie between the teams at the Emirates on 17th March. The FA has examined Hull's evidence and now want to hear from Arsenal and Fabregas, giving them a week to respond. They will then consider how to proceed once all the evidence is gathered and assessed. Gunners captain Fabregas, who did not play in the cup tie, was accused of spitting at Tigers assistant manager Horton in the tunnel after the game, which Arsenal won 2-1. The Spaniard has already "categorically" denied the offence following the claims from Hull. "I was there and I witnessed it, he spat at my assistant manager down the tunnel," said Hull manager Phil Brown on the night of the match. "That is their club captain, hopefully he is proud of himself. He spat at his feet."
