England call in Turner's grasp - KK
Michael Turner's eye-catching displays for Hull make him worthy of a place in the England squad, claims Tigers team-mate Kevin Kilbane.Turner has been one of Hull's top performers this season, and although the Tigers are currently battling to preserve their Premier League status, the defender can take much satisfaction in his displays.England boss Fabio Capello is reported to have contacted Hull on two occasions ahead of recent squads to discuss Turner's availability.That suggests the talented 25-year-old could have an international future, and Kilbane is adamant his team-mate could handle the step up in class."I think he's capable of stepping up, I've been really impressed with him," Kilbane told the Hull Daily Mail."He's a goal-threat in the opposition area but defensively, he's big and strong and good in the air."He's got decent feet for a big man and he'll be an asset to Hull City over the next couple of years.
