Duke extends Tigers stay

Hull City have handed a new contract to goalkeeper Matt Duke.[LNB] The 31-year-old has agreed a one-year extension to his current deal which will now keep him at the club until 2011.[LNB]Duke, who has been at Hull for five years, has recently won the No.1 spot ahead of Boaz Myhill and has played in their last four Premier League matches.[LNB]"I've worked hard over the years and I'm just glad to have been given the chance," said Duke. [LNB]"People call the Premier League the best in the world and this is where I want to be. The aim now is to stay in the team.[LNB]"I'm delighted and was more than happy to sign the new contract.[LNB]"It is something that has been in the pipeline since the Newcastle FA Cup games and things progressed after the West Ham game."[LNB]
