Hull City's Paul Duffen has admitted that there were no issues over the Andrey Arshavin deal when the Premier League chairman met on Thursday.[LNB] All the clubs in the top flight were represented at the meeting in London, where matters such as the January transfer window and the legitimacy of the Arshavin deal were aired.[LNB]Reports had suggested that some Premier League clubs, in particular Aston Villa, wanted to question whether the Russian's switch to Arsenal was in fact completed in time.[LNB]The 27-year-old secured his move to the Emirates a day after the window closed but Arsenal were allowed special dispensation from the FA due to the adverse weather conditions on Monday.[LNB]"Everything that was said about that in the press was perhaps wild speculation," Duffen told Sky Sports News.[LNB]"The Premier League are very satisfied with how the paper work was processed and that is the end of that matter."[LNB]Duffen went on to add that the subject of the transfer window was not formally discussed, although some parties did air their views.[LNB]"There was some casual conversation around the buffet table but no it wasn't on the agenda," he added.[LNB]"Some people have made their feelings known, we need to address that in the future but it wasn't on the agenda today."[LNB]
