Cesc Fabregas was last night accused of spitting at Hull City assistant manager Brian Horton after Arsenal clinched their place in the FA Cup semi-finals with a hotly-disputed winner. [LNB]Injured Fabregas watched from the bench as the Gunners came back from behind to win the quarter-final 2-1 before clashing with Horton in the tunnel. [LNB]That came after a William Gallas winner which Hull boss Phil Brown called 'a disgrace' because of an offside claim. [LNB] Bust-up: Cesc Fabregas (second right) confronts Hull players and staff at the final whistle.[LNB]Brown said: 'It's an absolute disgrace. We have not been beaten by Arsenal, we have been beaten by a referee's and linesman's decision.'[LNB] Arsenal 2 Hull 1: Gallas hell for Tigers as rough justice sees Gunners steal a win[LNB]Arsenal 2 Hull City 1: All the action as it unfolded[LNB]ARSENAL FC NEWS FROM ACROSS THE NET[LNB]HULL CITY FC NEWS FROM ACROSS THE NET[LNB] [LNB]Fabregas, who once clashed verbally with Mark Hughes after a match against Blackburn, said: 'I can categorically deny that I spat at anyone after the match. I have never done this in my career on the pitch, so why would I do it when I'm not even playing? [LNB] Late winner: Gallas scores for Arsenal, despite appearing to be in an offside position[LNB]'I can understand the frustration of losing the game to a dubious goal, but it's not the fault of me or any of the Arsenal players.' [LNB]No way: Phil Brown insists Gallas is offside as he watches a re-run of Arsenal's winner.[LNB]Horton had been locked in a touchline dispute with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger for much of the game. [LNB]The FA are sure to investigate Horton's claims and may also examine Brown's after-match rant, which included an angry critique of referee Mike Riley.[LNB]Riley allowed Arsenal's 84th-minute winner to stand, even though goalscorer William Gallas was in an offside position when he headed it in.[LNB]Brown said: 'You are not going to get the rub of the green when you come to places like the Emirates but for their club captain to spit at my assistant manager is disgusting. It shows you what this club is about. [LNB]'I witnessed it. He spat at his feet. I won't accept an apology.' [LNB]Wenger dashed straight down the tunnel at the end without shaking Brown's hand, and claimed he knew nothing about the spitting incident. [LNB]Brown said: 'He never shakes my hand. Maybe he's still sore we beat them here last time.' [LNB]Nicky Barmby put Hull ahead in the 13th minute and thought he had made it 2-0 before linesman Andy Garratt ruled that effort offside. Robin van Persie equalised in the 74th minute, then Gallas escaped Garratt's flag to score the disputed winner. [LNB] Flashpoint: Fabregas (right) gestures angrily to Hull assistant Brian Horton.[LNB]Brown said: 'He makes the decision in the first half with Nicky Barmby but he doesn't make it in the second half. We lost the game unfairly. [LNB]'No excuses for the first goal, it was a mistake by us. And no excuses for the second goal, it was definitely a mistake by the officials. That's why we're out of the FA Cup. Ask Mike Riley how much that is going to cost Hull City and I don't think he will understand and I don't think he'd care.' [LNB] Party time: Gallas raises his fist in celebration as his Gunners team-mates join him[LNB]The Hull boss faces the FA tomorrow after being sent to the stands against Newcastle earlier in the competition. He was also furious with Wenger for pressurising Riley about time-wasting. [LNB]Wenger said of the alleged spitting: 'I don't know anything about it.' [LNB]Of the winning goal, Wenger said: 'It is not offside because the ball is deflected by the fist of the goalkeeper.'[LNB] Arsenal 2 Hull 1: Gallas hell for Tigers as rough justice sees Gunners steal a win[LNB]Arsenal 2 Hull City 1: All the action as it unfolded[LNB]ARSENAL FC NEWS FROM ACROSS THE NET[LNB]HULL CITY FC NEWS FROM ACROSS THE NET[LNB][LNB] [LNB]
