Jamie Devitt is eyeing a regular place in Hull's first team after making his senior debut for the club last weekend.[LNB] Devitt, who enjoyed loan spells with Darlington, Shrewsbury and Grimsby last term, came on as a second-half substitute in the 2-0 opening day victory over Swansea.[LNB]And the midfielder told Hull's official website: "After coming through the youth team here, setting foot on the pitch was a big thing for me and I'm thankful for the chance. Hopefully I did well enough to be in the squad again at the weekend.[LNB]"I want to show that I can be involved in the team week in, week out and that I can play at this level. When I get my chance, I've got to take it.[LNB]"Going out on loan last season gave me the confidence that I could play league games and I want to play as many games as possible this year."
