Dawson targets Rovers result

Andy Dawson believes it is 'massively important' for Hull City to get a positive result against Blackburn Rovers.[LNB] The Tigers' run without a Premier League win was stretched to 10 games on Monday after a 2-1 home defeat by Tottenham Hotspur.[LNB]Blackburn visit the KC Stadium on Sunday and Dawson admits City can not afford to lose against their relegation rivals.[LNB]"We all know we need some points from that game," said Dawson.[LNB]"They are below us, so if we can get a point or three there will be a little bit of a gap.[LNB]"It is a massively important time of the season and one we have got to start getting points from."[LNB]Before taking on Blackburn, the Tigers also tackle Sheffield United in an FA Cup fifth-round replay and Dawson admits a win over Spurs would have been the ideal boost to morale.[LNB]He added: "I think if we'd have won it would have given us a little bit of daylight, but it wasn't to be.[LNB]"We have got to pick ourselves up now. We have got two more massive games this week."[LNB]
