Cousin - Bust-up over
Daniel Cousin believes Monday's on-field disagreement with Hull City team-mate Geovanni at Aston Villa is old news.
The pair clashed as the players the left the pitch due to the former Rangers striker's disappointment that his Brazilian colleague opted to shoot rather than pick out a team-mate.
The Tigers went on to lose the match 1-0 thanks to John Carew's first half goal, but Cousin believes the incident will be firmly out of the players' minds come the weekend.
Despite Hull's woeful league run of just one win from 19 outings, Cousin insists Phil Brown's squad are pulling together heading into Saturday's crucial home encounter with Stoke City.
United"All the players are united. We speak every day and it is behind us," explained Cousin.
"We didn't fight. It was just a disagreement and at the end of the day it was probably because everyone is a bit anxious and nervous at the moment.
"These things happen but I prefer it when players are talking to each other rather than just whispering behind each others' backs.
"We are big men, adults. We spoke about it and we are friends again now.
"This is a very important game because it is the determining match for staying in the Premier League.
"We need the points and we need to win this match."
Fit to play
Cousin is currently playing through the pain of a back injury in order to aid Hull's battle against the drop, insisting he will be able to fully recover once the season concludes.
"The back is not entirely sorted but I am fit to play - I can relax in the holidays," he continued.
"I have only had one injection on it. You must not have too many because they are not good for you, but if the manager is picking me, he thinks I am fit.
"I can accelerate and run and that is why I am playing."
