Cloak & Dagger at Winterton

Why the secrecy behind James Armstrong?

James Armstrong had a great game at Winterton, scoring one and setting up another but it's a shame Daylon Claasen couldn't get the credit he deserved. The big question is, why did Steve Bruce feel the need to play Claasen under the Armstrong psuedonym or was this a nervous pre season admin error?

Either way, Claasen is making his next appearence against Sheff' Wednesday on Saturday in Portugal and hopes to impress Bruce in his bid to secure English football after his assurances fell through at Everton on the demise of Moyes tenurship.

If he is the real deal, the next hurdle would be a working visa as the journeyman midfielder, on the back of trials at Claasen's trials at Everton, Eintracht Braunschweigand Scotish giants Celtic also had similar visa restrictions regarding a possible move to Madrid.

I wonder what alias Claasen (AKA) Armstrong had down on the passenger list to Portugal...Phil Brown?...Les Mutrie?...Ken Wagstaff?

Bruce has named the core of his squad to face the Owls on Saturday which looks to be quite formidable...They include

Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grub.

Good luck lads.
