Hull are in further talks with Hull City Council over the proposed purchase of the KC Stadium by chairman Assem Allam. Currently the tenancy of the council-owned arena is shared between the Tigers and rugby league Super League outfit Hull FC. Allam owns the lease on the stadium, however, which has 41 years to run, and has stated his intent to purchase the stadium and develop its facilities. A spokesman for the Hull chairman told BBC Look North: "These are ongoing negotiations and it is hoped they will move things forward."
