Cash-strapped Hull City reject £5m bid from Wolves for midfielder Stephen Hunt

[LNB] [LNB]Wolves target: Stephen Hunt[LNB]Hull today rejected an improved £5million bid from Wolves for winger StephenHunt and insisted they did not expect their Barclays Premier League rivals toattempt a further approach. [LNB]The Tigers have now turned down four bids from Wolves for the services of theRepublic of Ireland international, who is seen as a potentially pivotal figurein the club's battle to remain in the top flight.[LNB]'In response to further released speculation, the club have received a verbaloffer of £5million for Stephen Hunt,' read a statement on www.hullcityafc.net. [LNB]'This has been completely rejected and we are not expecting any furtherbids.'
