Cardiff win can kickstart us - Shakespeare

Hull assistant manager Craig Shakespeare reckons Cardiff would be a great place for the club to notch a first away win of the season. The Tigers head to the Welsh capital expecting an improved performance, and Shakespeare has suggested Bluebirds loanee Anthony Gerrard could add something to their away form. Shakespeare told Hull`s official website: "You can see from watching him (Gerrard) that he is very committed and a forceful centre half. He is something we have probably been lacking." He added: "It's probably our toughest test so far, but let's be honest, they have all been tough away from home. "I'd like to think we've learned some lessons from our previous away games. Cardiff is one of those places that is always hard to go to and come away with a result. The crowd can be hostile, but it's up to us to go down there and quieten the crowd down." Having lost all three games on the road this season, Shakespeare said: "If we're going to shake that tag off, there's no better place to do it than Cardiff."
