Bundesliga duo Borussia Dortmund and Hannover 96 are reported to have joined Hull City in the race to sign Jakob Poulsen.
The 26-year-old, who currently plies his trade with Danish side AGF Aarhus, was strongly linked with a move to the Premier League after helping Denmark qualify for the 2010 World Cup.
Tigers boss Phil Brown is said to have shown a keen interest in the right-sided midfielder, but was warned off by Aarhus who are desperate to hold on to their prized asset.
However, with two Bundesliga giants now believed to be in the chase, speculation is mounting over his future with the Danish club.
Poulsen insists that, despite the reported interest, he is yet to receive an offer from any club.
"I haven't heard anything myself," he told Sporten.dk.
"There have been many calls after I returned home from the national team, but nothing serious."
