Jimmy Bullard has revealed that his rehabilitation from a knee injury is progressing positively.[LNB] The Hull City midfielder has been out of action since rupturing his cruciate ligament on his Tigers debut in January.[LNB]Bullard has suffered lengthy spells on the sidelines with knee problems in the past, but admits he has found his latest setback hard to take.[LNB]He is, however, looking forward to making his eagerly-anticipated return to action and hopes to take another step towards achieving that target in the next few weeks.[LNB]"It's been a nightmare start to be honest," said Bullard, who joined Hull from Fulham during the winter transfer window.[LNB]"For your new club, to get out there and play 30 minutes and then wake up the next day and your knee's like a balloon, it isn't a great start and you know something's wrong. [LNB]"But the boys have been fantastic and the club, the manager and the chairman, have got behind me and backed me. Backed me in a big way. [LNB]"It's not been easy. A couple of months ago I was struggling, they were dark times, but now I am getting closer. [LNB]"I feel like I can kick a ball and I am getting closer to running - perhaps in a couple of weeks. I set myself little targets and hopefully in a couple of weeks I will be running."[LNB]
