Hull City manager Nigel Pearson has confirmed that Tigers midfielder Jimmy Bullard will remain sidelined for a further three weeks.[LNB] The Tigers boss revealed the midfielder suffered the set-back in a training session during the latest international break.[LNB]Although the manager played down the injury by revealing it was a meniscal tear, it is expected that the 31-year-old will miss the next four Championship matches.[LNB]The former Wigan and Fulham star hasn't featured for City since the goalless draw against Coventry on October 2nd after suffering an injury to his left knee.[LNB]Bullard is now expected to miss the games against Barnsley, Scunthorpe, Leeds and Preston for the club, who are currently sitting just three places above above the drop zone.[LNB]Pearson told the club's official website: "Jimmy has suffered a meniscal injury to his left knee which will keep him out of action for an estimated three weeks.[LNB]"It is important to stress that this is not the knee that he has had surgery on previously.[LNB]"Scans have shown that he may not need an operation, and as such, it is expected that he will resume training shortly."
