Bullard hopes to witness the fitness

Midfield playmaker Jimmy Bullard has assured Hull City fans he is determined to be raring to go for the start of the new Championship season.[LNB] Bullard has been dogged by injury since his club-record signing from Fulham in January 2009.[LNB]The 31-year-old showed flashes of his brilliance this season upon his return from knee surgery - but was unable to help the Tigers secure their Premier League status.[LNB]Bullard missed the last two games of the season with an ankle problem and also suffered a major knee injury at Fulham.[LNB]But the £5million man is ready to play a full part in pre-season training and is eager to be firing on all cylinders for Hull's return to the Championship.[LNB]"I haven't had a pre-season for a couple of years now," he told Sky Sports News. "My knee's 100 per cent so I'll give it a go, see if I can get a bit fitter, and hopefully get a full season under my belt."[LNB]Bullard has made just 15 appearances since signing for Hull, scoring four goals, although the club have said they will consider serious offers of a permanent transfer or a loan deal for the former Wigan man as they aim to cut their wage bill this summer.
