Hull City boss Phil Brown bemoaned another late goal as his side slipped to a 2-1 defeat by Tottenham.[LNB] Jonathan Woodgate popped up four minutes from time to grab all three points for Spurs after Michael Turner had cancelled out Aaron Lennon's opener.[LNB]Brown admits conceding late goals in recent weeks is costing his side, but he feels there was not much between the two sides at the KC Stadium.[LNB]"We always said it was going to be a learning curve this season," said Brown.[LNB]"We always said it is going to be a progressive season and if truth be known if you look at three or four of our results of late, games against Sunderland 75 minutes 1-1, against Arsenal 82 minutes on the clock 1-1, against Aston Villa 94 minutes 0-0 and again today.[LNB]"It's hurting us in the end and you could say it is good experience [LNB]"I wouldn't say there was over £100 million separating the two teams today."[LNB]ToughBrown admitted the defeat by Spurs was a tough one to take after Kamil Zayatte went close to giving Hull the lead in the second half.[LNB]"It is a tough one. I don't think we deserved to lose the game," added Brown.[LNB]"Maybe their experience won it as opposed to our inexperience.[LNB]"The winning goal typified what teams are capable of doing.[LNB]"Anthony Gardner comes out of the back four and the ball is played into the area where he should be.[LNB]"Defensively, we have got to learn. The inexperience at this level is hurting us.[LNB]"I thought in the first half we were the better team.[LNB]"We went a goal behind and showed character to come back.[LNB]"The turning point was Kamil Zayatte hitting the post and it coming out as opposed to going in."[LNB]
