Bostock has the talent - Pearson
Hull manager Nigel Pearson agreed there was no denying the talents of John Bostock but he will be without the teenage midfielder at Preston on Friday.
Bostock, 18, on a season-long loan from Tottenham, scored with a stunning 30-yard free-kick in the midweek draw at Leeds, but was later sent off for receiving a second yellow card with 12 minutes remaining.
Pearson said: "He's shown what he's capable of and it was a fantastic strike.
"But he's having to deal with the disappointment of being sent off as well. It was a mixed bag for him, but he showed just what he can bring to us."
Bostock, who began his career at Crystal Palace before moving to Tottenham in a £700,000 deal two years ago, arrived at the KC Stadium in August and scored a similar goal to the one at Elland Road on Tuesday in the Tigers' opening-day win over Swansea.
