Boss hoping home form can turn

Nigel Pearson wants to address his side's poor home form after seeing Hull clinch their first win in nine games at Preston. The Tigers' last league victory at the KC Stadium was a 2-0 success over Derby on September 14, and Pearson's side take on Ipswich at home on Saturday in good heart after Friday's 2-0 success. Pearson said: "We've got to build on this now and hopefully the players will get a lot more confidence from the two away games last week. "We've got to get back to winning home games now. There were some very positive things about our performance on Friday night and it was always going to be tough with both sides not being where they want to be in terms of league position. "It was a case of getting your noses in front and trying to stay there. At times we did very well, there are still areas to improve, but generally speaking it has been a good few days for us."
