Boateng: Tigers must show claws

Hull midfielder George Boateng has called for hard work and a battling spirit in order to prevent the club dropping out of the Premier League.Last Saturday's 1-0 defeat to fellow strugglers Sunderland has left City perilously close to the drop, and this weekend they welcome title-challengers Liverpool.Sunderland's goal appeared to be offside, but Boateng admitted there is no point ruing bad luck."You have to ride your luck and the luck went against us. That's what happens," he told Hull's official website. "Your luck is not in quality now but the work-rate and the commitment and how badly you want it."The other teams may have more technical players who they hope will turn the screw, but with five games to go and when you are three points away from relegation that is out the window."[LNB]
