Hull City midfielder George Boateng is in line to make his comeback from injury in the relegation clash with his former club Middlesbrough. The Dutchman has been out since January after damaging knee ligaments. But Boateng has been progressing well in recent weeks and Tigers boss Phil Brown is ready to bring him back for the crunch clash at The Riverside. "Just to have someone like George around the squad is a big plus for us," he told The Sun. "To have that sort of experience in and around the dressing room again is very welcome. "To start after such a long period out of action would be a big ask. "But the psychological lift it can give the squad on what will be a tense occasion can only be a positive for us. "He's looked very sharp. Hopefully, George can show he's ready for a place on the bench with a view to playing some part."
