Barmby: We`ll be hard to beat
Hull must recover their identity if they are to challenge at the top end of the npower Championship next season, according to player/coach Nick Barmby.
Barmby, handed a coaching role next season under new manager Nigel Pearson, feels the players who still remain at the club must rebuild team spirit at the KC Stadium.
Barmby told the Hull Daily Mail: "I'm not going to sit here and make silly predictions about what we can do, but we'll give it the best we can.
"As long as we can get that team spirit going again next year, and I'm sure we will, anything is possible.
"We need to get back our identity. Our identity, first and foremost, has to be built on a team that's hard to beat.
"Everyone needs to know that when they play Hull City, you'll be in for a game. I think we strayed away from that last season for quite a number of games and that was disappointing."
