Barmby: We must get back our identity
Hull must recover their identity if they are to challenge at the top end of the Championship, according to player/coach Nick Barmby.[LNB] Barmby, handed a coaching role next season under new manager Nigel Pearson, feels the players who still remain at the club must rebuild team spirit at the KC Stadium.[LNB]Barmby told the Hull Daily Mail: "I'm not going to sit here and make silly predictions about what we can do, but we'll give it the best we can.[LNB]"As long as we can get that team spirit going again next year, and I'm sure we will, anything is possible.[LNB]"We need to get back our identity. Our identity, first and foremost, has to be built on a team that's hard to beat.[LNB]"Everyone needs to know that when they play Hull City, you'll be in for a game. I think we strayed away from that last season for quite a number of games and that was disappointing."
