Barmby set to land new Hull deal
Hull are preparing a new one-year contract for Nick Barmby as they put the finishing touches to their retained list at the KC Stadium.[LNB] The Tigers are planning a mass clearout this summer to reduce their alarming wage bill, but Barmby looks set to avoid the cull.[LNB]The 38-year-old's current deal expires in June but it is claimed he will be offered fresh terms and the former England star looks likely to be spearheading the club's bid for a Premier League return next season.
