Hull City's veteran forward Nick Barmby has hinted at the possibility of extending his playing career into next season.[LNB] The hometown favourite turns 37 in February and was considering the possibility of hanging up his boots at the end of the season, but after being one of the few shining lights in the Tigers' poor start to their first season back in the Championship, Barmby has left the door open for a further year.[LNB]The former England man, who now has a player-coaching role at the KC Stadium but has taken to the pitch in 10 of City's 13 league games this campaign, says if he continues to love the game there is no reason why he cannot go on playing.[LNB]He told the Hull Daily Mail: "I feel all right at the minute.[LNB]"There's a lot documented about the older players but if you feel fit it doesn't matter how old you are. I've been feeling good for the past couple of years. I've been feeling fit and sharp.[LNB]"I still love my football so as long as that continues, I'll continue to play."
